The culture and inhabitants of the islands in the “East Blue”

Gragra

In the East Blue, the “Navy branch presence” is surprisingly big on every island. It’s unique how military facilities blend into the everyday scenery.

Sora Utsugi

I still remember the “bell ringing” in Orange Town. I love how the whole town is like a shopping district and welcomes travelers.

Ochamaru

That mansion in Syrup Village is definitely scary to walk around at night. There aren’t many mansions of that size in the East Blue, are there?

Hikari no Hako

I know what you mean, the silence around that mansion is actually kind of eerie…

Nukkori-do

The tangerine orchard in Coconut Village has a wonderful scent that can’t be conveyed in photos. It’d be popular with tourists.

Kaminarigusa

Shells Town is the ideal naval town, isn’t it? The facilities are at the center, and the surrounding area feels peaceful.

Tsutsuji Nijimura

In the Kingdom of Goa…the class differences are more noticeable than the facilities. Just remembering that “wall” makes me feel heavy.

Gragra

The atmosphere there is completely different within the East Blue. The kingdom brand is too strong.

Fukurou Bunko

I think Rogue Town’s “everything town feel” is the urban equivalent of the East Blue. The number of clothing stores is insane.

Koganemochi

I’ll never forget the food I had at the food stall in the market in Rogue Town. Is it because ingredients from all over the sea are gathered there?

Nonoka’s Diary

It’s amazing how the atmosphere on Dawn Island is completely different between the top and bottom of the mountain. I love how lively the downtown area is.

People of Hisui Town

Baratie is more than just a “facility,” it’s a “culture” itself. The title of “Fighting Chef” is already a tourist attraction.

Kasumi Bridge

Baratie seriously has a theme park vibe. Once you’ve been there, you’ll want to talk about it.

Sakura Sakukoro

Yamaoka Village is unassuming, but its “everyday strength” shines through. A small port, the smell of fish, the voices of the morning.

Nekomochi

I like the police box in Cocoyashi Village where Genzo was. It has a certain “reliable country cop” feel to it.

Koganemochi

That place has the kind of charm that you’d want to feature in a tourist guide.

Nanohana Ran

The clothes in the boutiques in Orange Town are just so cute…does anyone know?

Tsukiyomi

I know, they have surprisingly good taste. Their products for travelers are strangely sophisticated.

Kuromame-ya

The lighthouse in Rogue Town. The view of the ocean from there makes me feel like “where all voyages begin,” it makes me cry.

Kazama Hibiki

East Blue has an image of being full of pirates, but in reality, there are a lot of “ordinary people making a living at sea.” The fishing culture is strong.

Gragra

I think the interior of the bar in Cocoyashi Village suggests a sociable owner. I’ve never been there, but I’m sure it is.

Box of Light

No, I understand your delusion. The atmosphere in that village is very friendly.

Hanamura Hana

The execution platform in Rogue Town is a historical site, but as a tourist destination, it gives off mixed feelings.

Minato Shobo

Aren’t there a lot of hills in Syrup Village? When I first saw the map, I thought, “My legs are going to die.”

Tsukiyomi

The residents there seem to have really strong legs and hips.

Nukkori-do

Isn’t the medical level on Dawn Island surprisingly high? The doctors seem to be very skilled.

Koganemochi

Maybe it’s the influence of the researchers on the mountain.

Fukurou Bunko

I want to talk more about Rogue Town’s cafe culture. The coffee you drink there while looking out at the ocean is the best.

Kaminarigusa

Orange Town is practically a “merchant town.” They have a perfect system for attracting travelers.

Jade Town People

They definitely developed that intentionally, with a merchant mentality.

Nonoka’s Diary

I’d like to quietly visit the Shells Town training grounds. The navy’s morning training looks impressive.

Kuromameya

I’d probably get in trouble if I tried to take a look, lol.

Gragra

I wonder what the “Noble Town” of the Kingdom of Goa smells like. It probably smells of perfume and metal.

Sora Utsugi

It’s definitely full of perfume. And the smell of grass. A completely different world from the slums.

Hikari no Hako

Baratie’s kitchen would probably make a killing if they let tourists in. I’d love to see a cooking show with high combat power.

Tsutsuji Nijimura

Dawn Island’s party culture is quietly fascinating. I bet a lot of the islanders are into partying.

Nanohana Ran

I heard the bar signs in Rogue Town are cute, and I want to go. They definitely have some style.

Tsukiyomi

There are so many establishments in Rogue Town with elaborate signs. They’re even designed to protect against the sea breeze.

Kasumi Bridge

The water in Syrup Village is so clear it’s scary. Kids are definitely playing there.

Hanamura Hana

Cocoyashi Village has a place that’s like a trade fair for “safe fishing villages.” It makes you want to go home.

Nukkori-do

It’s exactly like that. Simple, but warm.

Kazama Hibiki

I could spend half a day just at the port in Rogue Town. It’s so fun watching the cargo coming in and out.

Nekomochi

I heard the exterior of Baratie is even more impressive up close. It’s a ship, but it looks like a building.

Minato Shobo

The shopping district in Shells Town had such a great selection of military merchandise that I laughed. They’re definitely targeting tourists.

Gragra

I love how every island in the East Blue has such a strong “lifestyle” feel. It feels like the birthplace of adventure.
